Win95 problem w/vxd file

At bootup after windows screen I get a black screen w/ white letters stating.

Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run windows.
It states it is in the registry or system.ini.

I went to run typed system.ini I could not find any vxd. files
PTVCD.VXD

Don't know where to look in the registry! Not a place to play around in.


It states hid any key to start windows and windows starts and runs.

I can't reinstall win95 because I dont have most of the programs.
