'scuse the terseness of the following, but it's just my notes from work with slight edits for clarity. i'm out of ideas, so if anyone has any...I'm open to suggestions:

ibm aptiva -- floor model from staples, still with the original software installed (still registered to staples, etc). win 95. k6 <something> w/ 32megs ram. netgear fa310tx.

worked fine before winter break (how, I don't know..nobody told me ;p), but juno (and supposedly, ONLY juno) was installed over winter break and now won't work over network. switch does not see card (on either jack in the room; roommate does not have computer and security was disabled on both ports when i got to it), but card does get link light. microscanner shows no errors on wiremap, length is right. i've tried resetting the card in the switch (cisco 5505 last time i checked) with no results.

when attempting to reinstall card (remove drivers/reboot/use original drivers off diskette), Clients for MS network and *NetWare network* autoinstall, as well as IPX and netbeui, but NOT tcp/ip. installing tcp/ip and removing netware, ipx, and netbeui (or leaving them on..it hasn't seemed to make a difference) allows the proper IP to be assigned (and it shows up right in winipcfg) and pinging own IP works, although gateway times out.

tried allowing older files to replace newer ones. tried cleaning out juno (uninstall+through registry) and getting rid of all relevant references to netware and reinstalling card again; netware does not appear to be installed and may or may not ever have been.

I've tried a quick search through knowledge base and I wasn't able to find anything useful and juno's site is worse than useless for possible issues like this, so someone please give it a shot :)
