I have an old Gigabyte K8VM800M motherboard that required you to hit F6 under Windows XP to install 'additional drivers' during the setup process.
Now I have Windows 7 and want to install it on a system with this Gigabyte board. Trouble is I can't since Win 7 won't except any of the drivers I am trying to use.
Does anyone know of a work around for this?
What if I bought a SATA to IDE converter, would I be able to install 7 and then remove the computer and have it boot up?
The other thing I was thinking of was to use an old IDE drive, install Win 7 and then clone it to the SATA drive. Not sure if that will give me fits.
