Win7 install issues

I downloaded the Win7 RC and I am attempting to dual boot with vista. Every time I install the RC on the empty partition, install goes fine until it gets to the last part "completing installation." Every time it gets to this point, I get a BSOD with a 0xF4 stop error. It seems to happen soon after the screen switches back to my monitors native resolution (2048x1152). I've tried multiple times repairing and re-installing and it always happens.

Specs:
BFG 550W PSU
XFX 9800gtx+
Dell generic mobo
Dell SP2309W monitor
Intel core 2 duo e6600 @ 2.4GHz
2 GB Ram

I've had other problems with BSODs and not being able to install the latest gfx card drivers, and I think most of it goes back to the crappy dell mobo, including this problem.

Often the BSOD is a memory issue. So you may want top try running Memtest to check out the RAM.

I've been running memtest for a few hrs now with no errors...I will continue to run it overnight, but I don't think faulty RAM is the problem.

Well if your trying to install it while maintaining the OC then that too could be your problem. Take it back to stock then install the OS. It may be the OS install is finding instability in the OC where other test and applications have not.

I've had many strong and stable OCes get crippled by odd things like F@H.

Try a chkdsk maybe? This stop means that a process is terminating unexpectedly from what I understand.

I may be repeating myself since I posted this in another post (but hey it worked). Possibly the data is corrupt, reburn the ISO file of Windows to the disc. Use the slowest speed possible.

Try that out.

Also, hopefully you have partioned your drive right. I always used partition magic to do mine.
