Win7 automatic back up questions

I just bought win7 64 bit Ultimate and noticed there is an automatic back up program.

I searched and started it but I'm scared to click 'next' and go to the next screen because it is choosing one of my hard drives to back up to.

I'm not sure what it's going to do... I have 4x1 terabyte hds, I use the last 3 for storage and back up. For instance my music file. I keep that on the c and the d drives but if I make changes to one, I have to make changes to the other manually.

If this auto back up feature will keep these two file in sync that would be great but I'm not sure how it works.

I don't need or even want to back up my entire C drive that's for sure, just 3-4 files is that the way it works?

I can't comment since I haven't fooled around with their automatic backups (yet), but I will say that if it doesn't do what you want it to, Microsoft SyncToy may be what you're looking for.

I restored from a Win7 manual backup after managing to FUBAR my startup (completely broke the boot manager). It was quick and flawless, much to my surprise.
