I finally am going from XP to Win7.

i'm in control panel in icon view.
Where the heck is Add/Remove programs?
 
step 1: click start window
step 2: click control panel
step 3: click program and feat
step 4: smile

One of the great things in Windows 7 -- the "Search programs and files" box right above the Start button. Just enter "add programs" or "remove programs". They did a great job of making it easy to find admin tools and Control Panel items when you don't know the exact name. Has a way to go for files.
