Hi. I am looking to change from Win 7 32bit to Win 7 64bit. I'm also going to be installing a new motherboard, ram, cpu, and video card. Is it possible to essentially "upgrade" to 64bit from 32bit (without wiping the hard drive for a clean install)? Repair option?

I know this isn't the best way to approach this, but I have some time constraints that force me to look at alternatives.

Thanks!

Going from 32-bit to 64-bit you will have to do a clean install. There is no upgrade option unfortunately.

I would backup data then do the install. You'll have to reinstall apps after the install.

Yep! Saratoga172 is correct. You don't really have alternatives.
