Old motherboard? some need a bios update for correct support.

Outdatet BIOS. You have to flash it with an updated version that has 48-bit LBA enabled. Check your motherboard's wesite for more info.

Admin tools> computer management> disk management.
If you dont see it there, then you must be running a 486 or something because even my abit bh6 mobo saw a 180gig drive.

Motherboard fully supports it. Linux sees it as does WinXP and Server03. Actually found MS Knowledge Base info on it. There's a key in the registry you have to add.
