win2kpro vs win2kserver

I have both and right now I'm running Server on a system I use for web serving, backup, etc. I picked it because I was hosting multiple domains off of the box and IIS in win2kpro only supports 1. now, I got the 1&1 package so I no longer need to. I want to retool the box and make it act as a web server just for my lan, to test pages before I upload them, and a file server for the lan.
which would be better for my new needs: win2kpro or win2kserver? ie which would give me better performance?

Windows 2000 Pro will give better performance out of the box, but Win2k Server can be tweaked for Pro-like performance with the changing of an option in My Computer somewhere (it has to do with whether to give priority to services or applications) if you don't want to reinstall.
