win2kpro config backups?

I noticed in safe mode there is an option to boot using the config of your last succesful boot. When you go to this option it says to choose from the list. List? I only have one option ever on this "list" -the last sucessful boot-, I was wondering if there is a way to manually save a config to add it to this "list"
