Win2K ZipCD 650 Hang up w/CD Creator

Just built a new system including the following:
Abit KT7-Raid
T-Bird 900
196MB RAM
Win2K
NVidia M64
Linksys LAN
USDrive 52x
Iomega 12x4x32 Zip CD 650

My problem is when I use CD Creator 4.02 (supposedly Win2K compliant) to create a audio CD, the USDrive starts to read the CD to check the copying speed, then hangs indefinately when in reaches the "re-sync" stage.

Checked the IDE settings, which are PIO (not UDMA). I've seen several other posts with similar probs, but no solution.

Anyone...

I would try using another burning program to see if something is wrong with the burner itself. I also recommend Nero.

You can get Nero from their Website

Good luck.

Thanks for the Nero suggestion. I'll try it tonight. I don't think it's a hardware prob, since I can copy data fine.
