As of Tuesday, July 13th of 2010, Microsoft has ended support for 2 products: Windows 2000 and Windows XP Service Pack 2. An EOL'd product no longer receives security updates and hence they are at greater risk if additional exploits are discovered. It's highly suggested that you update these machines new a newer OS/SP, otherwise proceed with caution (and strongly consider disconnecting these devices from the internet).
1) Windows 2000: All versions. As this OS is now 10 years old, Microsoft has retired it per their software lifecycle policy. Do svidaniya, Win2K.
2) Windows XP Service Pack 2: x86 only (x64 is Win2K3 based and follows that product's updates). Microsoft retires support for a Service Pack 2 years after the release of a newer service pack. SP3 was released in 2008, triggering this clause. Windows XP is still supported until 2014, however you must be on SP3 to receive further updates
