Hello - I have been wrangling with remote desktop connections to my media PC. I have no problem connecting to and controlling the remote pc (xp pro corp) but what I really want to do is control the audio output at the remote pc (jukebox).
Even though in the options of the connection I state I want to leave the audio at the remote pc, when I play music nothing happens. winamp essentially refuses to play, as does media player. even testing wav's in the control panel doesn't play. Is there a setting I'm missing? or will remote desktop simply not perform this task - I guess I could change control apps, but would like the groups opinion on troubleshooting this one.
I tried the OS forum, nobody wanted to play.
