WIN2k/WIN98SE dual boot rig - WIN2k shows that it is the F: drive ???

Clean installed WIN98SE, then WIN2k ... both as FAT32 partitions ... got the WIN2k dual boot menu ... both OS' sem to function perfectly. However, when booting to WIN2k, the WIN98SE partition shows up in the WIN2k File Explorer as C: and the WIN2k partition as F: (the CDROM and CDR/RW are D: and E:).

This seems very odd, although it appears not to be causing any problems.

Anyone seen this before?

Is this a cause for concern?

that's perfectly normal. when 98 is booted up, it'll be C: , but when win2k is runnin, it ain't gonna be c:, it's gonna be D: (or in your case another letter)...that's the way it works.
