Win2K will not let me into folder "System Volume Infomation" !! Access is Denied?

I am logged in as administrator ... I don't understand why can't I see inside that folder !?
It is my PC after all and my OS .. is MS trying to keep me out !?
I also can not see the same folder on my XP partition !
 
ddduhhh how come I didn't think of that !!
I shoulnd't ask stupid questions when I first wake up ...
