ok i'm using the administrator profile on my win2k pro machine. how do i restrict other users from going into my My Documents directory? i tried clicking the folder, select properties, clicked sharing tab, clicked permissions, added a test user profile and under Permissions, i clicked Deny on everything. i log onto the test user and i can still go into the administrator's My Documents directory. how do i restrict folders from being viewed by others?

Add administrator or your login to the sharing properties and remove all others. Then enable your login. All others will be excluded.

If the administrator's My Documents folder is kept in the default location in the profile (c:\documents and settings\administrator\my documents) than a normal user should not be able to get into it. Normal users by default are denied access to all profiles on the machine except their own.
