Win2K - Upgrade or Package?

I need some advice as to which version of Win2KPro I should buy.

My main aim is to upgrade my workhorse laptop, a Sony Vaio F403. I've got hold of everything driver-wise that I need, and Sony very helpfully (unusually) had a page where it guided me thru the entire process.

Sony recommends that I install Win2KPro anew, as opposed to an upgrade of W98.

If I purchase an upgrade version, will a 'clean install' be possible? I have bad experiences with upgrade versions of previous versions of Windows so I would like to be sure before I buy a copy.

Ditto 🙂 Why don't you wait a month and buy Xp?
