I need some help from all you experts out there. I have some older machines acting a terminal clients on my network so that everyone in the organization has some access to the intranet. what's happening is that some people are using the Ctrl-Alt-Del to lock the client. I would like to remove the option from their login's. I have tried creating a policy using policy editor and using the group policies option, both atempts have been unsuccessful. does anyone have an idea on how I can limit these users options?

There is no way of preventing the client from lcoking the session. You could tell them that after X minutes of inactivity, your session will be terminated. But, there is no way of preventing the client from pressing CNTL-ALT-DEL and then locking the session that I know of.

You could either create your own GINA.DLL or try contacting Microsoft to see if there is any way. If there is, please let use know.

I'm not sure how it would work in Terminal Services, but for NT and Win2k, there is a registry hack to remove buttons (including the lock button) from the ctrl-alt-del screen. You can also remove task manager, and the shut down button.
