Win2K Task Manager display problem

Suddenly, Task Manager is only displaying those programs which are running on the Task Bar. Although I know there are many programs and processes in the background, none of them are shown. Further, the only field visible to me are "Task" and "Status". CPU usage, for example, is absent. The only buttons available are "End Task", "Switch To" and "New Task". There is no blue title bar across the top, and the only way to shut TM down is to right click on the Task Bar icon.

What did I do now?

Craig

Hey, BartJ!

I LOVE this! I saw the question and wonder what Craig was smoking! (Sorry, Craig.) I'm gonna go screw my wife's Task Manager up now! How the heck did you learn about this? And why on earth did Microsoft do this? I mean, what purpose does it serve? Oh, I bet it's a security thing.

It's just wonderful the stuff you can pick up hanging around a place like this!

Regards,
Jim
