Win2K takes about 5 minutes to shutdown or restart after HD and RAM upgrade.

My HD was dieing so I got myself a new IBM 30GB and some RAM. Win2K is kinda picky when you change HDs so I did a clean install. Dual boot Win2K and Win98. Now when I try to restart or shutdown I have to wait for 5 or more minutes, which needless to say, it's a bit annoying. My HD is 100ATA so I had to install the Win2K ATA100 Hotfix, not sure if that is the cause.

What do you guys think?

Em, I think you replied to the wrong post. :) I have no problems what so ever with my system apart from the fact that it takes too long to shutdown or restart.
