Win2K support for Linksys 4-port USB hub?

On the site i'm buying it from, it says requires win98.
On linksys's site it says 95-osr2 and 98. (but its clearly an old datasheet)

frankly I thought if USB worked, a USB hub would work.

anyone got it working for certian?
