Win2K stops responding

I bought a new machine (AMD Tbird 1000Mhz) with W2K installed. The system locks up all the time.
Sometimes it will run for 5 minutes. Sometimes for 4 or 5 hours. I have a KT133 based system.

256 Meg
Nvidia (Vision Tek) TNT M64
Sound Blaster Live
SMC Ethernet card.

I've tried installing DX8, Via 4-1pack and the lastest Nvidia drivers. I've also tried the hot fix from microsoft for an AGP video problem with the Via chipset.

I'm going to try install a non-NT based version of windows (98 and 95).

Does any one have any other ideas.

Motherboard?

Do you have sufficient cooling?

Is your power supply large enough?

Is everything seated correctly inside the case?

It's an Epox 8KTA+ motherboard. I've flashed it to the latest release.

Not certain about the cooling part. I have two case fans. I'm current running with the one side off of the casae case off. In addition to the fan on the CPU heatsink, one of the case fans is blowing at the heat sink. Monitoring the CPU tempurature from the BIOS it reaches 95F. I'm not sure how much the processor is being used in that state.

I have a 300W power supply. Monitoring the voltage levels in through the BIOS indicates that they are correct.

I believe everything is seated properly. When I got the machine the sound card wasn't seated right, but I fixed that.
