win2K startup options. need help!

I am putting together a system for a friend. I used Maxtor software to format and partition his 80 GB drive. Then I booted from the win2k cd and installed 2k pro.
Everything works fine, except when the system is starting up, it pauses and gives me the option to boot to win 2kpro or windows and waits 30 seconds if there is no input.
I used a 98 boot disk to get the maxtor cd to format the hd and I think it may have written some 98 files to the HD. I know I shouldn't have , but I didn't have the 2k boot disk handy.

SO how do I get rid of the startup windows option and just boot straight to win2kpro all the time.
Hopefully you won't say to re-install using the correct boot disk<G>

What you see is normal. You can reduce the boot menu display time and change the default OS by editing boot.ini directly, or more easily, by looking at Control Panel - System - Advanced - Startup Options.

Thank you very much.
It has been awhile since I installed my system and I forgot some of the finer points. It seems a lot like win 98, but they moved everything around so I can't find it.
Thanks again for saving me a lot of headaches.
Don
