Win2K sp3 and Firewire Drive enclosure

I bought a Firewire drive enclosure at CompUSA yesterday. The boxed said plug and play...it cames with drivers but I tossed them by mistake with a bunch of boxes.

It doesn't show up on windows...is there anything that i can do to get it to work?? besides finding dirvers..are there some generic drivers out there??

God what a DA! Either that or you may have ripped this nice hardware off from some poor dweeb..
. You may have to open up the enclosure and look at the chipset of the interface. Go to the chipset mfr's site and there will usually be drivers avaiable. Also try the enclosure mfr's web site. If you can't figure out the mfr, go to CUSA's web site or call the nearest store and ask. Mfr. web addresses are usually printed on the box.

They don't sell this model online so i may have to check around...
