My Win2k is working just fine (never upgrade yet).
Should I stick to the credo, don't fix what's not broken ?
or should I upgrade ? (if I do upgrade can I go directly to SP2 or should I go through SP1 first ?)

Where do I get it? I'll try it... what the heck, this OS has run too well for too long to actually be from Microshaft.

Like duh... I already did try to search for it... and everything I read said it's not out yet.

How rude!

Its out but not on the windows update page therfor soem people think its not out.

It is recommended by me and others due to the security fixes which are about 50% of the sp.

I read on arstechnica that people who upgraded have many problems, even BSOD.

Yes that is possible due to unforseen third party dirvers and software. I suggest uninstalling the via 4in1 drivers and never installing them again before you instlal sp2. Install the via agp driver though.

Dang man, 100 Meg!? I want to upgrade my OS with some patches and bugfixes, not download a new operating system.... Ah, the good old days when I could fit my entire OS (that actually used to work!) on a floppy or two. Sigh.... ;)

Read this on HardOCP

<< Just got a few mails from some folks that ARE having issues with networking with the SP2 for Win2K. As always, we suggest you backup before you lay down this kind of "upgrade".

Just thought I would let you know that the install of SP2 just hosed my user settings and has broken the trust relationship with the local domain. Even after removing my workstation from the domain and adding it back, the trust relationship could not be reestablished.
