Win2k setup cdrom issue

A whole string of files is unreadable for some reason during the "copying file" phase of the setup, in all about 10 files and the first one always being comdlg.dll, this happens on both my cdrom and dvdrom(they boot fine) and also pro and server versions which suggests to me its not a "dirty disc" thing. Tried skipping all the files but after reboot in the final stage it completely crashes.
