I work for a webhosting company, and they gave me 2 webservers to mess around with. To make a long story short, I am confused with win2k because well I don't like it because it isn't as stable as linux, and it doesn't seem like a very good solution. Well anyways, I would like to know:

If there is a way to do something similar to Apache Virtual Sites in IIS ? Like one serverwide IP, and have many virtual sites without having thousands of IP's ?

I know I could have Apache in win2k, but I would prefer to use IIS, because most people who come looking for help, want help, when they use win2k server/advanced server, on IIS. So just wondering about this question. I have been told it could be done but I haven't figured it out yet.

Thanks in advance.

Host headers in IIS. Under the advance tag beside the IP address.

Only thing, if your sites require any SSL, they each need their own IP.
