Hi guys ,
I was wondering wats the different between win2k pro and win2k server? Is the setup the same for both? What advantage can i get from the win 2k server? thanks

Pro has a 10 user connection limit, server doesn't have that limit. Server is tuned to boost background services, while pro boosts your applications. Server has more services built in, has active directory services built in, dhcp server, dns server, wins server, services for novell and others I can't remember. Server can support up to 4 processors, pro can only support up to 2 processors. Well those are like the major ones I can think of right now.

ic ......... I have another question about win2k server....if i am using win2k server thats mean i dont have to use other program to Link right ? Because win server have a function DHCP am i right ?

emm.... never mind friend:p emm...i just wanna know if i install win2k server do i still need sygate to connect or link up other pcs?

you would never need sygate just to connect to another computer. if you're trying to share internet or something along those lines, yes windows 2000 server has built in nat
