Win2k server probs.... networking....

ok i have a k62 350 machine with 128 megs of ram running win2k server. the only hardware i have plugged in is my netgear nic, video card, cdrom and hdd.

everything seems to be running good except for the network card. there are no complaints about anything in the devise manager and im sure i have the right drivers for everything.

any suggestions? im starting to get realy pissed at this thing.
 
What kind of error messages do you get or what isnt it doing. I would try looking under the Network Neighborhood properties and see if the IP addresses are correct including the subnet mask. Also whether or not it is communicating with the other PC's and if they have the proper IP settings.

well im pretty sure all the tcp settings are correct. ive tripple checked them.

i can ping the ip address that i gave the computer but not my firewall or any other ip address.

im gona try changing the cable but the light on my switch is on and i though it was a good cable....at least it was when i was running winme.
