Win2k Server Print Job problems

On a windows 2000 server we have, for some reason the print jobs are staying in the que even though they have been printed. The are being flagged as "Printed"

I have gone throughout all the printer settings I can find that might relate yet it doesnt fix the problem and yes Retention has been turned off.

Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

PS: Dont know if this will help but the problems started shortly after installing HP 1220 drivers. I have searched and search with no results.

The reason to fix this is, if we have to reboot the server we have to go in and clear all the cached jobs or they will reprint the jobs as soon as the server comes back online

You say the retention has been turned off. Was it on and then you set it to off ? If so, did you subsequently restart the server and the printer ?
