I've been given a server with Win2k Server as the Operating System, however the person forgot to give me the password to the computer!

Is there anyways I can circumvent this? Normally I'd just take the hard drive out and hook it up into this one and format the hard drive and install a new os, but since the hdd is scsi I can't.

Any help to circumvent this password issue would be great!

For all those who may think this is illegal (circumventing passwords etc etc) its not, this person asked me to fix this server while they are on vacation in Austrailia.

Without his password, there is no way that you can access it. According to your previous experience, it sounds as though you're looking to do a format followed by a clean install. Why couldn't you just reinstall with the OS CD. If his CD-ROM is bootable, then boot off of that. If not, then use the makeboot32 that's on your OS CD to create the four boot-up disks that's needed.
