Hi. Anyone know a solution to this?
I'm running win2K server with a software mirrored setup.
My primary mirror broke recently, and for a while I was running off the secondary mirror. I hadn't put a boot sector on the secondary mirror so I had to boot from floppy. Got a replacement disk, disconnected the mirror, formatted new disk and established another mirror, this time off the secondary drive - so that now the secondary disk is now my primary mirror. With me so far? Good.
I also then booted off the Win2K CD, run the Repair Console and issued a FIXBOOT command on both drives. They still won't boot.
Any ideas? Is there something I've missed?
It's no big deal as I rarely have to restart my server, so a floppy boot is fine, but it is a bit annoying.
