Under routing and remote access, you choose different network methods and I noticed there were 2 for ICS [Setup ICS (like the one used in win98/ME), or Set up a router with the NAT routing protocol] which essentially makes it a software router. Now I've spent 3~4 days trying to pick up on this stuff and the regular ICS seems to be more trouble free but I think the NAT is more configurable and maybe more secure, plus it acts as a router.
I'm just curious which method is best, why and if there are any webpages out there on how on how to setup a network using the software router method?
the software router options seems to be the better way, dunno y though.
