Win2K & RH9 on two physical disks

I have two physical hard drives... a 13GB disk with two partitions, a Win2000, and an extended partition with documents, and backups of programs, etc...
I recently installed a 40GB disk and I wanna try my hand at Red Hat Linux 9. How do I install Linux on the second drive. I inserted the CD into the drive, but nothing happens. I have gone into the CMOS settings, and the boot sequence is set to boot from CD first, then HDD. Is there something i need to press, or something like that?

Thanks...

MS guy helping linux...they'll fry me for this 😛

Are you getting any "press any key to boot from CD..." message at boot?

If not, put in a known bootable CD (Like your w2k CD) and see if you get the message.
If not, check your BIOS and hardware. If so, re-burn your ISO and be sure to make it bootable.
