win2k, Renaming Administrator Account...

Due to common security advice, I renamed my Administrator account to "Administr8r2k" a while ago in Users & Groups. However, the Administrator folder remains in C:\documents and settings. I believe this is causing "Administrator" to come up instead of "Administr8r2k" in the logon screen, which is kind of annoying.

I tried to rename the folder in the past, only to find another Administrator folder, and somehow all my personal settings were lost. I now know to leave well enough alone, but I am wondering if anyone has done the renaming in the same way.

Even if I am the only person using the system?

So would I just be able to make a new acct in users & groups, and then copy the contents of my Administrator folder to it. Probably not right? That would be too easy.

I recommend being a power user. And it should be that simple, although you may have to change ownership on the files. Shouldnt be too tough.

You could also have it auto log you in if you dont want to use a non-admin user. It wouldnt hurt the security much at that point. In Win2k there is also an option to remove the last logged in user from the login box, but I have no clue where that option is.

The only accounts common to all Win2K installs are Admin and Guest, thusly a potentially wide security breach.
Just create another user and it to the admin group. Make sure you don't use the same password and change it often.
