Win2K, Real Player volume?

Hello,

I cannot get Real Player to control the speaker volume, although the system tray control and the Media Player slider do work. This was the case with my previous system (ABIT BH6, PIII 450@558, Ensonic 1371), and my current system (ABIT VP6, 2XPIII 700E@933, Aureal A3DXStream and also tried Creative Live! Value).

Is this a known problem with Real Player? I have Real Player 8 Plus build 6.0.9.367.

My Win2K is SP1 (SP2 beta didn't help). DirectX 7.
 
I have the same problem. It's really annoying, but as I very rarely use RealPlayer I've never really looked into fixing it.
