Win2k Random Reboots

Windows 2000 for some reason is starting to crash on me, but i don't
know if its b/c of Windows 2000, or my hardware. Win2k about a month ago
would run perfectly withuot a problem.... no crashes or anything at all.
but lately, my comptuer has been just rebooting. from what i can make of
it, one of my hard drives is turning off, then the computer reboots,
then the hard drive turns back on. i cant figure it out..... my power
management is all set to never let the hard drives turn off also. is
there any one that konws how to fix this problem (whether Win2k or not)?
thanks

my system configuration is:
Asus P3V4X
celeron 533a@800 (stable for 1/2 a year running win2k, so i doubt its
the overclocking)
256mb crucial sdram
ibm75gxp 30gb hdd
maxtor20gb hdd
plextor 8432 CDRW
teac 540e cdrom
SBLive Value
3com 3c905c-tx NIC
Diamond Viper2 TNT2 AGP (installed the VIA AGP drivers)

yeah, other than that random rebooting, this comptuer is runing fine.
hehe thanks

perhaps your 2k is blue screening. check your event logs. or, go to system in control panel. in advanced tab, go to startup and recovery. deselect "automatically reboot". run it again and see if it reboots or shows you a blue screen.

If you had to raise vcore significantly in order to run on the 100 fsb, it's possible the Celeron is showing signs of wear and tear and is making mistakes. Going back to cpu default could correct it. Happened to me - luckily there was no significant OS or registry corruption, so w2k ran OK and I did not have to reinstall.
