Win2K Password Question

I picked up a used lappy off ebay and I have no idea what the password is. The seller has no idea either as he is just unloading salvage equipment.

How do I bypass or reset the password so that I can get in?

Worse case scenario is that I have to reformat and reload everything from scratch but seeing that this is a P133, I'm not looking forward to spending hours doing this.

Suggestions?

You would be insane not to reformat/reinstall.

You have no idea what software is on there. How many viruses, trojans, keyloggers, spyware, etc....

Unless you're never ever ever going to store a single piece of data on this system that you don't want stolen, reformat and reinstall.

Perhaps you're right. Tracking down drivers for this antique is not going to be easy though. It's a Fujitsu Monte Carlo.
