Win2k or ME?

I'm buying a new computer soon which I'm coing to network with my old one.
I use the computer mainly for games (1,33ghz TB, 256DDR, Radeon Vivo 64mb DDR).

Which one do you guys think I should use? Win2k or Me?

I found that win98se works best for my gaming platform... But I also reinstall win98se about every 4 or so months... I can run my games in win2k also, but it just doesn't do as well. Though many new games are written for the nt kernal as well as the 9x kernel, so things are changing... I would suggest that if you play games that are over a year old or so (starcraft, counterstrike) then stick to win98se. But if you play all new games or games that have been programmed to run in nt then I definitley would go win2k...

I love win2k and loathed WinMe. Win98SE is a good gaming option, but i would chose Win2k for it's incredible stability

I am using Windows 2000 right now, but I have also used ME and had no problems with it.

WOW :Q No problems with Windows ME!?
I must be lucky 😀

Heh, well I would go with W2K all the way. From all the complaints about ME around here I wouldn't want to subject myself to the frustration.

Yep, win98se, been my gaming rig os for the last 4 years. win2k pro i use for workstation stuff, but there are apps out there that optimize your win2k priority settings which allow for gaming almost on par with win98se.

Hehe almost.
