Win2k networking problem

I just got rid of windows ME & installed win2k. When I try to access the drives on the win2k machine trough my network it wants a password. I have no password. I know that there is a fix for this but I forgot how to do it. Please help!

I'm guessing that it's asking for a user name...?

On the 2k machine you just have to create a username and password that people can use to log in from other computers. It doesn't have to be the same as their user name on their comp.
