Hello,

For some reason, every once in a while, the cookies that are 'installed' in my browser/computer get unknowingly erased every once in a while.. the same thing happens to the links that I have already "visited", e.g., when you click on a link, it turns purple which means that you've already visited that site, but along with the unknown cookie deletion, the links that i've visited get wiped out as well.

Can anyone help me figure out why it's doing this?

Many thanks in advance.

Automatically deletes cookies?

Does not track sites you have been to?

This sounds like a good problem, how can I make it do this :)

On a serious note, are the cookies deleted after the browser is closed?

Do you have "allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "allow cookies per session" enabled?

Yeah, see I have the "medium" security level enabled, and I'm pretty sure that should do the trick, because I never had this problem before.

Hmm..now that I think of it, installing SP1 might have screwed it up.. do you think I should uninstall SP1?

Forget about setting it to "medium," choose "custom level" and enable both instances where cookies are involved. You should study each option in there.

The SP1 updated did not alter the way cookies are sorted (directly anyway).

Good luck...
