Win2K / Mandrake boot problems...

Ok, here's the deal. I loaded Win2K on my Highpoint ATA100 disk. Everything was smooth. Then I partitioned to allow space for Linux swap and Mandrake. Smooth. Then install Drake on the ATA100 disk. Still smooth. Set up LILO, looking good, but WAIT! It set up LILO with my "windows" boot option for my 2nd HD (no OS, just MP3's, formatted FAT32) and not for my Win2K (which is at the front of the disk). So I edit the LILO and set the windows partition as hde1 instead of hdg1. This should work I think, but when I try to boot into 2000, no luck. It just stops. I can still get into Drake and everything is groovy there, but how do I get back into 2000 and restore the MBR so I can dual boot properly? I don't have a bootable Win2K disk.

Thats weird. Mine set up fine... It just labeled my win2k drive as DOS... Just had to edit it to say windows.

To uninstall lilo, run lilo -u. At this point, your Win2K MBR should return, but you won't be able to boot into Linux without a floppy.

I would suggest you get bootpart from www.winaimage.com and use the NT loader on your MBR.
