Grrrrr!!! I have a custom built Athlon 650 with an FIC SD11 mobo and 256 SDRAM. I was converting a DivX AVI file to a SVCD file, so basically 100% of my CPU power was being used. I pulled the side of my case off to make sure it would stay cool.
I come home, after 15 hours of converting, to find the system frozen... and wasted CPU time.
Any ideas why this could be happening? I'm probably going to replace the motherboard, CPU, and memory pretty soon because 650 just ain't cuttin it anymore.
