Win2k lockup's....Why ??

Where can i find some reasons why my win2k lockups and every body else doesn't ?? I've un-installed D** near everything and it still locks up while reading mail or surfing, using IE5.5 sp patch...well, all the latest drivers for video and sound. Not oc'd, cut agp back to 32 and on and on......same crap.
There must be a list of stuff somewhere so i can run down the list to fix this !!!

And I'd like to mention that my XP rc2 doesn't lockup......not yet anyway. But (of course) i stay in win2k 90% of the time and thats why i'm mad with win2k right now.
