win2k lockup help plz!!! :(

i just got win2k proffesional and i have installed my latest video driver and SP1
..my card is a Hercules 3d Prophet 2 MX..(geforce 2 mx)
it was locking up at boot with Nvidias Detonator 3 win2k drivers but i put on hercules win2k drivers and itr boots but the systems locks up after about 1-3mins..there seems to be hard disk activity but nothing happens....my specs are
K62 450 on a jamicon super7board with ALI chipset
Geforce 2 MX
SB Live Value
196mb Ram
Seagate 8gig paritioned with 1.5g system disk...
DX8a
Win2k prof Eddition w/ service pack 1 (2 is WAY too big to download on my 56k
Please help
p.s its on FAT32 not the NTSF

Trying to remember, but wasn't there some issues between the K62 chips and the GeForce family of cards?

think i worked out the problem...i had a WAN miniport driver conflicting..which i must have missed..and when i tried to remove it said it needs it to boot...i removed it in the netowrk menu and i rebooted and everything seems to work fine now..system has been stable for about 45mins
i noticed when i first put it on also that my nic was sending packets..or recieving...which might explain the lockups? hmm
