i have a thunder bird 1 gig 2666 fsb and 256 infineonram an iwill kk266r with two 40 gigs in a raid0 configuration. I just installed win2k and it keeps on freezing randomly no error flags or anthing just freezes what to do? win2k wont detect my cdrw and cdrom.
 
you should look into driver issues with your ide controller. also it could potentially be that your cpu is overheating (maybe you didn't put the hsf on correctly), your video card drivers are causing an error or making the card too hot. try getting the latest drivers for everything, downloading Motherboard Monitor 5 to check if your cpu is overheating. and finally, when the comp freezes check to see if the hd light is on ... this could mean your controller is having driver conflicts.
