Hi there...
I've been running Windows 2000 for a while now (this is re Pro) and I have had it hard-lock on me while in the desktop twice, both times resulting in me having to completely reformat. What happens is, when the computer locks up I have to reset or power off the computer without actually shutting down, and the next time the computer boots, it says the winnt\system\config\system folder is messed up. So, I try to repair it and it won't work, so both times I have had to reformat. Why does it do this, and how do I keep from having this happen when I do get a hard-lock?
Thanks!!!
