win2k / linux dual boot

I recently set up Mandrake 8.0 on a slave hd in addition to win2k i had on my master. Everything went smoothly, I use LILO to dual boot. (configuring LILO using Mandrake 8.0 was a piece of cake, highly recommend this distribution to everybody). My only problem is that the hd which i put linux on appears in windows explorer. If i click on it, it prompts me to format it That is one or two clicks away from disaster. Is there any way to hide that drive under win2k?

any ideas?

yeah i had the same thing...its rather easy to take care of...all u need to do is right click on my computer and select manage..then click on disk manager...then right mouse click on your linux partition and goto "change drive letter and path" and remove the letter that is in the combo box..there ya go you will no longer have the linux partition shown in win2k
