Aight, my new system is a KX133 Abit KA7-100, Athlon700, LeadTek GeForce DDR 32MB RevB, Win2K, and it's unstable as hell on 3D games. They all crash after 5-20 minutes. 3DMark2000 hardly lasts for 10 seconds. Literally.
My system works fine otherwise. What's the deal? I did some research and I know these three things combined can make for some bad results, but there's gotta be a way to make it stable!
I got 4in1 v4.23, VIA AGP v4.03, Detonator v5.30, LeadTek's VGA BIOS flash, and RY beta BIOS for my KA7.
My SBLive! is indeed sharing an IRQ with my GeForce. So are my USB controllers. I moved the SBLive! around a few PCI slots, and Win2K just refuses to assign it another IRQ. Is this fixable or am I doomed for instability? Should I use Win98 instead?
