Win2K: Is it possible to remove the "share hand icon" on a folder or file & still have it shared across the network?

Why???
Anyway.
All folders are shared to admin´s on the network and they connect to it using the $ sign i.e:
\\compname\foldername$
This way you don´t have to share the resources and no hand are there ;-)
